Driver 7 error when using Duet Ethernet with Duex 5

I am getting the errors:
Short to ground reported by driver 7
over temperature shutdown reported by driver 7,when i power up the Duet and Duex using 24 V power supply. I am not performing any actions and I do not have any motor connected to driver 7. I only have a motor connected to the E2 driver on this board which I believe is driver 6. Any help as to why this is happening is appreciated

over temperature shutdown reported by driver 7,E2 is driver 5, so E4 is driver 7 - the middle one on the DueX5.
Assuming that the driver 7 TMC2660 ship isn't getting hot, it sounds like one of the SPI signals is not connected to driver 7. The most likely causes are:

A bad connection in the ribbon cable, so that the driver 7 CS signal is not connected through.

On the DueX5, one of the SPI pins on driver 7 TMC2660 ship is not soldered down properly.

On the Duet, the pin on the microcontroller that provides the driver 7 CS signal is not soldered down properly.

On either the Duet or the DueX5, the pin that provides CS to driver 7 is either not soldered properly, or solder-bridged to an adjacent pin.
I suggest you check the Duet for solder bridges on the expansion connector pins, then try a different ribbon cable.

There were no solder bridges but I did replace the cable and that seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks
