Is there anyone in Northern Virginia that can help?
-
Community,
I have two Duet Maestros, and both of them seem to have lost their ability to print and connect after I uploaded the firmware update 2.02 is there anyone out there that can meet up and actually diagnose these boards? One is completely non communicative, and one communicates, but it operates in a very strange way. Please direct message me. I need these machines to help me complete my graduate school work.

Have you described that in another thread? if so, please provide a link to it.

Yes I tried to describe it fullyon these threads. Currently I have the diagnostic LED on my board and it will not connect through Bossa or through SAMBA, nor through internet pings.

So in what way does it communicate?

@dc42 I must clarify. I have two duets, the one that went dark after printing an object I was able to get to respond through internet ping. The one that I update the firmware on is the one that is unresponsive to any communication. Thus I do need someone with diagnostic capabilities. I already put in a service request from the supplier, waiting to hear back.

Are your Duets still under warranty?

@dc42 I do not think so, the website at my supplier says that their units are warranted for 30 days calibrating, building reinforcing and stabilizing my delta platform, oh and trying to get the assigned ISP to show on the menu.

If it's a genuine UK-manufactured Duet, then the warranty period is 6 months.

@dc42 David. I don't know if it makes a difference to the warranty but the OP stated that they were Maestros

I guess they came from M3D then, in which case M3D's warranty terms and local statutory rights will apply.

@dc42 I think that is an accurate guess.

I've emailed our US-based repairer to see of he can help you, but not had a response yet.
