        So another way to have Z probe calibration it's to use capacitive sensor but not mount in the hot end but in the BED… Like the Bed is A touchscreen and use the hot end like A Finger... There is lot of application very cheap using ardruino and simple alu foil....

        Now We just need to print some Bed using conductive filament ans found the right shape of capacitor and that' it... Please Share your result and i do the same...

          I though electronic scales used piezos?

          Using the bed instead of the hotend is what is used with FSRs and I have heard there is some issues with sensitivity and issue with the bed being heated. maybe a capacitive arrangement would work better
