for future reference, the SSR need more Ma than the IO could provide, I run them now on OUT ports with 0 issues.

    • duet mini 5+ SSR on IO0 and IO1

So I am wiring up my custom printer, before I have to redo a lot of my planning, is there any way to get a stronger signal out of the IO0 and IO1 to an SSR?
I wanted to go IO0.out to ground but it seems my 3-32VDC Relais need a bit more power to actually switch.
I am conemplating loosing fans and wiring the SSR to OUT1 and OUT2, switching relays to 0-10VDC ones (in hopes they work on the IO ports), but maybe I'm missing something.

If this is of any imporance, when activating the 3.3V signal messuring he voltage across he SSR showed 1.9V

and just so people don't think the jumper wires would stay here is the wiring done

(for the stepper, the rest is next)

    • RE: SecKit Cube wiring with unconvntional port usage

So I have crimped some adapter to test the wiring and finally do this (life got in the way...)

this is to run MKS S42C closed loop steppers from the external driver pins (if the pins are correct a proper wire will be made)

Am I correct in just selecting Driver_5 and Driver_6 to connect?

I will try at the time the post is up but am happy for any input.

    • SecKit Cube wiring with unconvntional port usage

      Hello,
It seems I may have bought the wrong board for my printer.
I have a SecKit Cube and went through the IO of the boards and then bought a mini 5+ but think I may have went a bit too small, but this is how I planned:

      f1136cb0-3223-4099-b642-b04e239a967f-grafik.png

The X and Y are MKS 42C closed loop stepper and have the following ports:
      V+
      GND
      COM
      Engage
      Stp
      Dir

so the mapping for them should be?

Not much space left and not sure it is correct (have not crimped the wires yet), so I would be very thankful if there is an error I should /can fix before doing the wires.

wait I just understood, thanks a lot, so I can use that one board to connect everything.
Thanks a lot I will buy it and start trying to connect everything correctly, is this forum the proper way if I get stuck somewhere?

      I think so
their manual shows 3.3 - 28V for the signal pins

    • SecKit Cube to Duet3d Hardware

      Hello,
I have a SecKit Cube (200³mm CoreXY) that I would like to switch to Duet3d controller.
I use closed loop stepper from MKS for XY and have 3 geared stepper (normal TMC controlled) for Z and currently an LGX Lite extruder.

I use a GTR V1 with RRF already but am unsure what board to buy to switch to duet hardware due to the 2 closed loop stepper.
Also in case this influences the possibilities I need at least 5 Fan controls and would love to keep using the Nanopixel Strip (6LED) installed.
