What are the specs on the devices you are testing?

I tested a couple for use as a Z probe but their response time was too slow.

Inductive sensors generally worked fine.

So you could not find a combination of resistors that yield the required logic levels?

Did you have the ^ character in the pin name? You definitely would not want that.

While the various sensors I tested needed different values/arrangement of resistors but I was able to get them all working.

Yes I also tested a 68K resistor, same problem. With the 68K I measured 2,95V untriggered.
