    • RE: Dual Z Wiring

      @thwe

      thanks, your code is working

I think the M400 is needed, the code from
      https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/Independent+Z+motors+and+endstop+switches/18?lang=en

does not work, the Z switch never gets touched (E0 is touched). If I touch him manually bad Z value comes out(very high).
      With M400 is works!

      Thanks!

    • Dual Z Wiring

      Hi,

I got a HEVO running, but now I want to use 2 endstops, each for every z motor.

Do I move the second z motor to E0 motor connector? (so z motor 2 on E0 and endstop at E0)
Or just connect the endstop to the E0 endstop and the Z motor stays at the second z connector?

If yes, the E0 moves to E1?

      Thanks

    • RE: Adjusting speed - slic3r?

@Veti ohhhh thanks, that will be the error.

      Slic3r says:
      0_1542527788044_f9a33a5f-b378-4b78-b86a-9f5d08bde74b-image.png

      and makes M203 X300 Y300 Z10 E100 ; sets maximum feedrates, mm/sec

BUT: I set the firmware to marlin, in reprap the machine limits button is not there and in the gcode the m203 isnt there too. Thats the fault, wrong gcode flavour. I thought I have to take it, because in Duet I use Marlin compa, too

    • RE: Adjusting speed - slic3r?

The speeds in the DWC are not changing.

Slic3r PE puts this in the beginning of the file
      M203 X300 Y300 Z10 E100 ; sets maximum feedrates, mm/sec

    • Adjusting speed - slic3r?

      Hi,

I used S3D for my slicing and I was able to change speed while printing.

Now I print a slic3r sliced file and when I set it to for example 150% it happens nothing. Do I need to adjust something in the gcode?

I use M555 P2 in my config file.

    • External driver on duet Maestro

      Hi,

How the external drivers would be connected to the Maestro?

Is there a special Board for each driver?

      Thanks

    • RE: Movement above 50 mm/s loud

      Okay,

its fine than. I think its nothing with the duet. Speeds above 50 mm/s does stutter, rattle, shaking on the X-axe - carriage and I'm not able to figure it out. It was with rods and now with linear rails, too.

On the video you cannot real hear how loud it is, anyway:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id_A0d7HXlw

Just not usable above 50 mm/s, I'm happy with any help here, the printer is jsut garbage with the sounds.
