first i used the center of the bed, that gave me the heatmap form above.

Now i use X 5 Y 5 and the result is getting better!

I also used a mircometer to check the flatness of the bed.

First I homed the printer and used a feeler gauge to make sure that the z height was correct.

Next i mounted the micrometer and adjusted the Z height so that the micrometer read 0.

Then I moved the printer to some point to check the height. And did the same as before. These are the results:

325 375 6.42

180 180 6.62

The Z height indicates when the micrometer read 0. Only in the middle the bed is a bit higer.

Is there a way to get the heatmap a bit more flat? The results are not really constant.

I have the same problem with my printer, the bed moves up and jamming the filament path.
Check your z height offset first.

Well I have tested the bltouch several times and it is within 0.08mm.

And when I do a G30 S-1 my Z height is adjusted to the height the bltought measures.

Then when I do a G1 Z0 the nozzle is just against the build plate, so I guess so I think I've setup everything correct, but I am wrong.

Hi everybody,

I am having some trouble setting up my bltouch.
Doing al single probe point works great. when I command a G1 Z0 the nozzle is againstthe build plate.

But my Mesh grid compensation is where I have problems

the map is below zero point.

I hope someone could help me out.

Your M574 commands say that you are homing to high end endstops (X2, Y2) but you are homing to the low end so it should be X1, Y1.

Yes you are right! now homing great, now just getting the Bltouch to work as Z axis homing!

I been thinking a bit, but is this possible that the printers is homing to the maximum length of the axis!?

I have set the maximum length of the axis at 300mm and every time i home the machine the X and Y values are 300mm

That why I need a G92 in the home cycle.
But how do I change that!? homing to min!?

Well when the axis are at 200mm and i do the homing. The axis end up at 300mm insteed of 0mm. But maybe it did not works because i was running the code in a macro insteed of the home x and home y files.

I will try iT without the G92 in the home x and home y files.

I also have the feeling that the homeall file dus something else than i have typed. The homeall file is just the combined program of the home Y and X file.

So have Some more thing to find out. But i will het there

Works great! but I need to use a G92 to set the Axis at 0.0 mm , not sure if that is the best way yet.

I Been trying to get the sensorless homing to work good, it got it working for the X axis but the Y axis i cant get to work.

I am using the same code for the two axis:

As you can see in the two videos that axis Y just is not moving. Also the Stall detection threshold is very high but that does not changes a thing. Any ideas what I am doing wrong here!?

A few days ago i saw this video of Thomas Sanladerer about the TMC2130 driver.

These driver have support for homing your axis without a switch. On the duet the TMC2660-PA driver are installed.

I was wondering if these drivers support the same features as the TMC2130. And if the do, are you guys working on a firmware update, so we can take advantage of that.
