@phaedrux At the moment I'm using jog commands and it just can't seem to make up its mind which way it's supposed to go one moment it'll go right next it'll go left. I just tried homing it since you mentioned it and the console read "G28x phase B motor maybe disconnect." That dissapeared though replaced with M112 M999 Homing Failed. It also moved left to home which isn't correct on this machine it should be right for home though I only tested this twice, I'll add that the screw sounds strained.

Hey O Everyone,

I've been having trouble with my CNC, thought I'd finally got it fixed after the blown board fiasco. I was just about to start sorting out my spoil-board when the X-axis started to skip. I saw that one of my end-stops on the Z-axis was been pulled so I the CNC and took the X/Z-axis apar.t I didn't see much of note other than the wires been a bit long so I tapped them down. I put the housing back together then homed the machine. everything worked as expected except X it sounded stiff and it slammed into the Y beam it wasn't going any faster than the other two but it was a noticeable bang. I checked over the machine and repaired one of the end-stop that got a bit bent. Checked they worked then moved to check the axis just for good measure. Y and Z worked fine exactly like there supposed to but X has now become confused it's a 50/50 chance now if it decides to go one way or the other. I don't think this is a wiring issue as all I've done is tape the wires to the end-stops down and they're registering as working and I've not meddled with any of the other wires on the machine.
I've uploaded what should be the config.g file for the device. In truth, I'm using a 1500x1500 Buffalow CNC with Ooznest firmware and an Ooznest Duet Ethernet Board. Any helps appreciated as at this stage my only go-to idea is to re-upload the config files and see if that fixes anything. Also before my trials with it this weekend, the machines had been accepting commands, even got a pattern working off Fusion 360 the other weekend.

@jay_s_uk have looked the config.g file does seem to have M552 S1 there. I've also been getting this Yat error message every time I open the terminal since I tried to do the update. Don't know whether it means anything, here it is as followed:

It ends there just to be as transparent as possible it is connected to my CNC. Also the LEDs on the board lighting up with the usb are as follows: light next to usb, 5volt, 3.3volt, Y-stop, Z-Stop and the ethernet connection lights. Same is true for the mains power with the exceptions of vin light on, usb light off and ethernet connection light on but flashing red instead of green.

@jay_s_uk I take you mean the config.g file on the web controller? I'll take a look at it this afternoon when I get back to it ,Thanks for the help.

@jay_s_uk if memory serves when I had the usb in it was 3/4 lights when I removed the usb and trief using the power supply I believe these light were on and a blue one. I'm not currently by the machine but that's what I remember.

Have connected my duet 2 to my computer via ethernet however I cannot get it to communicate once usb has been removed even when power supply is on. I get the duet test console on the browser but every time I got to update it with Ooznest firmware it brings up the loading screen and nothing happens (I've waited 45mins and the loading bars still there) I tried this without the usb and powering it with the power supply but it just looses connection to the console. The firmware on the duet reads as follows in Yat.

The firmware I'm uploading is Workbee-Firmware-V1.0.7.3- Full.

Have I missed a step some where should I update the firmware on the duet. I'm a bit lost at the moment and I'm reading the guides and getting no where.

Hey O all I've had a problem with settings up my CNC the past couple of days which has now culminated in a driver chip been burnt out. To make things clear I use a Buffalo CNC machine 1500 x 1500 and been using an Ooznest software set up as the machine mimics Ooznest shape and design. Intially I got the machine to home but it concerned me that the trigger stop switches were been unresponsive even when triggered. I also confirmed on the console that said switches were triggering. Intially I though this to be odd but it wasn't going out of bounds so thought I'd get back to it and just try a small g- code program. Alien face I think it was just to double check that all the axis were working. Intiall it didn't what to do it because of a G40 code I think it was but an number of forms just said delete it it then said it was out of bounds which I didn't understand I've got one of the largest machines you can buy and it's in the centre of the work area so I decided to see what would happen if I told it to ignore the home function. I did and it moved then some grinding happened and I emergency stopped I reset all the codes and thought that's it for the day I'll just home it then it's out the way for next time. It didn't home or more precisely it homed in the wrong place. It raised the Z axis as it should do then shuffled the y away from the home. I did this a few times before realising this conclusion that it was resetting the home. I can confirm all axies drivers are or we're working as I moved the machine over and down to me for a closer inspection then the z axis driver sparked and bubbled? I'm suspecting this is a software issue just not sure what it is if I need to redo the firm ware please link for me any instructional material for the duet 2 ethernet as that's the replacement I've ordered as I'll probably be using the same flash card for it from the old one any help is appreciated.

@jay_s_uk I'm currently not at the workshop today but out of curiosity, and possibly for the sake of an easy fix when I get back to the workshop, what was the other users problem/ solution?

Bought a CNC machine from Buffalo CNC a month or two ago with a Duet 2 WiFi board. Followed the set up instructions and soldered the connection on the board. I've gone to test it though and X and Y axies work fine from what I can tell but Z is unresponsive. As far as I can tell all the wiring is in the right place for the micro switches and motors and I've even switched out the motor to check it's not broke but it seems to work fine. The only things I've not attached to the board are the fans but I don't really see how that could be causing a problem as the boards open to the air and I'm just testing the axis to make sure it all works. Any help would be appreciated.
