    • MFM_enclosureV3.scad to .step/.f3d: issues

Wish you all a happy new year!

For the integration of the MFM in a bracket I'd favour an editible object in fusion360.

      Is the MFM_enclosurev3_release.scad https:// github
.com/Duet3D/FilamentMonitors/blob/master/Filament_Monitor_Magnetic/version3/enclosure/MFM_enclosurev3_release.scad as provided in the github available as .step/.stp or f3d?

I tried to convert it myself according to this procedure: https://
      forums.autodesk .com/t5/fusion-manage-ideas/how-to-import-openscad-file-into-fusion360-as-a-solid-body/idi-p/10174834.
This workflow does not work for the hull structure of the MFM enclosure, but it works a charm for basic geometric bodies like for this example https://
      wiki.freecad .org/Import_OpenSCAD_code.

      Regards, Fabian

    • G1: calculate F for Flow test benchmark print

      Hi guys,

I'm a little helpless on my way to create a benchmark system based on cnc kitchen's Extrusion System Benchmark Tool for fast Prints to get values to compensate afterwards via M592.

My Problem is, that i do not get an idea, how to calculate the Fn parameter to achieve a certain Flow while moving the print head.
      Example:
      When executing G1 E300 F1800 the volumetric flow equals 72,2 mm³/s
How do i have to set up the F when i want to extrude the same amount with the same flow of 72,2mm³/s while moving G1 X1 Y1 Z15?

      Thank you, Fabian

    • RE: MB6HC 3.5.4 SBC: Show CAN Bus disconnect shorter 2 seconds?

@dc42 Thank you David for the quick reaction, will try that for now.

      we already have the CAN-Setup installed at some customers for 1-2 years now, really satisfied with how reliable it works so far;
As the solution ages, debugging connection issues is the main issue now.

I'd really appreciate a value in the Object model showing me the missing amount of data or delay in the communication without the threshold/delay, to survey it via dwc and note the arising issue early. To diagnose the issue via web access would help save on travel expense.

    • MB6HC 3.5.4 SBC: Show CAN Bus disconnect shorter 2 seconds?

      Hey Guys,

Priter is a delta with MB6HC + 1LC [3.5.4 SBC], canbus line hanging from the top to the printhead of my delta.
I'm currently facing a bad connection issue in my flying line to the 1LC in the print head: multiple Canus disconnect errors occured midprint.
Finding the issue manually by bending the cable and waiting for the disconnect error to show up is time consuming, as theres a delay of 2 seconds.

Is there a way to get a "live" monitoring for the can bus connection or to deactivate the delay?

      Thanks in advance,
      Fabian
