Paneldue update goes easily too, Paneldue update not possible same like other firmware updates with that one zip package on web interface?

      Not yet.

The beta and release candidates will usually only include the files that have changed, so to get the other files that appear to be missing you'd have to go back to the last stable release.

I share OP's confusion when it comes to upgrades, what files are part of the release and what combinations are suppose to work.

It will be useful to list the names and versions of files that are supposed to work together such that we can verify that we have a consistent set of versions or fix if not.

@zapta the releases page for each version does state which versions of wifi firmware and DWC that it works with.

Thanks @phaedrux. Looking at the top release here https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/releases, assuming I want to get my DWF to that version, what files/versions do I need to have?

Thanks @phaedrux, that's useful, but if version 2.03 requires three files (firmware, web, and wifi), listing all three with links to actual files would make the upgrade even more intuitive. 😉 Same for release candidates.

(this is not criticism, just a data point from a user that gets confused by the upgrade requirements).

@crazycreator in most cases if you're only upgrading from full release to full release you only need to upload the single zip file. Easy as that.

It's only when you are upgrading from a very old firmware, or if you've manually updated something in between such as when using the beta and release candidate versions.

I understood that already. It was actually addressed to @zapta to show him a completely safe way that he also has definitely all 3 important packages in the latest version.

After that, it should always be enough to load the Combined, or did I misunderstand something?

@crazycreator ah I see, I was thrown off when you said every time the right way.

Hopefully in time the DWC (or single board computer) will be able to manage the update process in the near future.

Thanks dc42, so I just need #1 for the duet and #3 for the panel due?
