Piezo Settings

I'm using the Orion Piezo sensor on my hypercube build, so it uses the nozzle as the probe. I have it set so that I can see under machine properties that it is changing to yes for a split second every time I tap the nozzle with my finger, but when I do a homeall and I tap the nozzle the bed does not stop moving.
What am I missing? I'll post my files below

Can you confirm that you have connected the piezo to the Z probe connector on the Duet, not the Z endstop input?
-
I think I can see what's wrong.
You have your Z end stop misconfigured. Your setup says:
; Endstops
M574 X1 Y1 Z1 S0 ; Set active low endstopsI also use the Orion on my V-Core and it is set up like this:
; Endstops
M574 Y1 X1 S0 ; Set active LOW endstops for X and Y at minimum; Z-Probe
M574 Z1 S2 ; Z end stop is probe at low value
M558 P8 R0.4 I1 H5 F360 T6000 ; Set Z probe type to inverted, unfiltered piezo and the dive height + speeds
G31 P500 X0 Y0 Z-0.02 ; Set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height
M557 X5:290 Y5:280 P14 ; Define mesh gridNote the second M574 which defines the Z end stop as being a Z probe (S2 parameter). My Orion is connected to the Z-probe input on the Duet WiFi.
-
Oh, you'll also find it's a good idea to uncomment the parts of homeall.g and homez.g which lift the head again after probing. Otherwise, you risk scraping the nozzle over your bed on the next move.

Actually, that isn't needed, provided that you home Z using a G30 command, which is the correct way to home Z using a Z probe, and what @57buick is doing.

Ah, OK. It certainly isn't harming anything though.
In 57buick's configuration, his Z end stop is included in the same M574 command that has S0 as the parameter. If this works, then what's the point of the S2 parameter to M574?

The S2 parameter is needed for printers such as the RepRapPro Ormerod and Huxley Duo, because those printers use a single IR sensor to home both X and Z. So S2 is used in the M574 X command.

OMG, Yes I was installing my X and Y endstops at same time and I plugged the piezo into the Z stop instead of the Z probe port, thank you, it's working now
