      Hello,
My Z axis won't go further than 200mm up, even though my Z axis maxima is set to 585.7... it just stops in the middle ( nothing physically stopping it, it's like the maxima was Z200 ! )

For example, if I send G1 Z300, it will stop at 200... it's kinda strange behaviour and I can't find were I messed up, it started doing this after I modified the homing files. I tried with the old homing files (before it started to block itself ) but nothing does, it won't get pass 200 !

Everything else works as intended !

Help with this would be great 🙂

      Thanks !

Does the DWC report a position past 200 or also stop with the motors?

              Here is the config file

And the duetwebcontrol shows Z200, I can still use it perfectly !

              Thanks !

PS : is there a better way to display enormous file like this ?

@carlitototo I'm surprised it moves at all - you have the Z minimum set to 585.7.

                  M208 X0 Y0 Z585.70 S1 ; Set axis minima

Changing that to Z0 will likely fix it.

nah, but if you had one, then it would be one of those places a config command that tricks us all is hiding. So no file, no problem.

Your Z minima and maxima are reversed.

That still doesn't explain how it's moving at all, or why it's stopping at 200. Please post your homing files. I think something else is still wrong.

Well that's embarrassing... exchange the Z value between Z max and min and it worked... thanks @deckingman and @Phaedrux !

                        Well I guess that's a good thing I don't have this file @bearer

Are you using a Z probe? It looks like you have a BLTouch configured, but your homing files are setup to use endstops.

If you plan on using mesh compensation this can lead to some issues. You will need to either switch homing Z over to using the probe, or at least ensure you do a single G30 probe at the center of the bed before creating the mesh heightmap, and before starting the print/loading the heightmap.
