      Hi,

I'm replacing my Rumba with Duet Wifi and a Duex5 in my BigBox. I have been controlling LED strips pulling 2-3A at 12V through by GPIO on RPI. The relay module can handle 3.3 - 5V signal and need 5V power.

      • Is it possible to use GPIO pins to control LEDs on Duet Wifi software vise?

      • What pins would be recommended to use for signal 3.3V/5V?

      • Recommended pin for permanent 5V power to relay board?

      Regards
      Stian

You could bypass the relay board altogether and use the extra heaters on the Duex5 to control the strips.

How much load can the heater outputs take?

In the docs all I can find is at least 12V 25W or 24V 50W so 2A should be feasible.

The heater outputs are good for at least 5A.

Or as I just discovered the servo outputs are 5V signal and 5V power. They should work perfectly.

Nice, then I can get rid of the relay 🙂
