My first 3d printer was a Delta kit ... and although that was a mistake, it led me to the path of 3d printer tinkering, and to duet boards, and to this forum.
But for a while I was having tons of problems with it: Heat creep, no proper part cooling, and generally a bad time when trying to print. All of it was my own doing: I tried heatsink cooling with fans lacking air pressure, had installed a steel nozzle, and didn't manage to sort out the long, long extruder among other issues.
So even after putting in a duet board and smart effector and putting in the brilliant Haydn MagBall arms, at one point in time I was so frustrated, that I put the delta in the corner (cue "nobody puts delta in a corner" move misquote) and bought another printer just to print.
That did not work out well, I got the tinkering bug and tinkered on it for months. It never broke as badly as I broke the delta though.
About two weeks ago, I decided to give the printer another go, reversing a lot of things I knew by now I did wrong, and worked on getting it to print.
And since today, it finally prints again! I don't have part cooling yet, so it prints ASA, but it runs at a smooth 100mm/sec printing moves and 300mm/sec non-printing moves. The only changes from when I put it in storage was a proper .4mm E3D nozzle, a bit of new cabling, and a flying extruder.
Please enjoy a short video of it at https://photos.app.goo.gl/qaapM8xAaEZ4rRX16 (printing at layer height 0.16).
And of course, now I have plans (-: It's time to install the AC bed, and maybe a Volcano hotend for some extra speed. It seems the build could go a bit faster ... if the filament melts quickly enough.

I made the same mistake as you, heat creep caused by fans that cannot produce neough pressure...
If you want, I designed a quite good part fan duct for the smart effector & magballs & volcano & 40mm fans. To be honest I'll swap theese out when I get to make the flying extruder, I'll add a blower to that assembly and get the air in a tube to reduce noise and head weight, but still, they work good, if you want I can send it to you

I'm always interested in fan duct designs, thanks for the offer @denke!
