I just got my Duet 2 Maestro, I'm still designing the mount so i didn't turn the board on yet. I am concerned about the reset switch tho. From handling the board and measuring it for the mount, the reset switch seems very stiff, to the point where I worry about breaking the switch just by using enough force to force it pressed, and doesn't have the "click" I usually associate with switches. Also it takes quite long for it to reset to the open position. Is this normal?

That doesn't sound normal no. Not sure about the force needed but I'd guess around 100-200g from memory but away from the board so can't double check for you.

@matej101 no that is not normal. Can you see if there is anything obviously wrong (solder stuck in, deformed, etc).

@t3p3tony no, the only thing that's different from the photos of other duets is that my switch does not have the gold sticker on the top

@T3P3Tony All shops I can find have a minimum order quantity of 1000. Could I get the switch from you?

@T3P3Tony Thanks, one more thing. Will I lose the warranty by fixing the switch myself?

@Matej101 if it's still under warranty then better to get a warranty replacement, please contact your supplier.
