      @T3P3Tony, @dc42 There was a discussion in one of the other threads about getting the DSF to run with a Duet2. One of the suggestions was that you could unsolder the ESP to get access to the SPI bus. If you're not using SPI0 or SPI1 via P1, J1 or P37 couldn't we just use one of them? You'd give up the ability to use one of a temp daughterboard or external SD socket but at least you wouldn't have to modify the board.

        @gtj0 might work - would be cool to try but would need RRF hacking and we probably wont do anything about it internally anytime soon due to other firmware priorities.

          I would love to see that happen. I am definitely going to try it even if it would requiere unsolder the ESP, and if we could use the external SD socket connection that would be just amazing.
          I hope then when the dust after releasing Duet 3 settles down you will work on it.
