Who the hell locked my thread?

I had a thread about job status by filament usage and it's now "locked". A couple of folks were gently arguing, but I was still conversing with @deckingman, so now I can't reply there.
BTW, yes, usage by filament is in the firmware, it has to do with tracking extrudes vs. retracts not working properly.
The web interface just polls the board for status, it doesn't do much itself. Anything it does do is based on data it gets from the main "brains."
