AhHA! a 10V pwm input. Same as mine; when I was looking at this last year I'd noted that 10V pwm/analogue seems to be a bit of a standard in the laser world. It's common in many CO2 lasers.

Disaster? The original Printeye is dying with RRF 3.5 (M208 depreciated).

        Something like this would work?

        https://www.amazon.com/Voltage-0-100-Linear-Conversion-Transmitter/dp/B00U7GJDVO

        alt text

connected to a fan or heater, take the pwm at 24v and transform it to 0-5V DC

after I make little change the Laser finally wor

Sounds like that laser wants 10V in.

Some want 5V (TTL), some want 10V. The two versions of the circuit above will work for the respective cases.

that what I find maybe the real test will be in G code file and let the machine work for hours
but first I have to do some work at Firmware

Right now I'm at Version 2.0.0-RC2
so any Suggestions for good version work fine with 3dprinter and Laser ?

I haven't personally tried laser, so can't comment on releases.

I can say I've had very good results using the "latest", including release candidates.

The latest release, always the latest.

Duet makes upgrading super easy, there is no real excuse for not upgrading asap and when new releases come out. Currently it is 2.03.

This is especially true if doing CNC machine control, Duet3D are pushing heavily in this direction at present and related features are appearing in each new release.

If you want to throw caution to the wind, try the latest 2.0x Release candidate, but I would avoid the 3.0 series betas at this time for general users. Though the 3.x series will eventually bring even more CNC related feature goodness.

@yaman COOL!, it's great when it gets working.
Now you have all the tuning fun you could wish for; carving and engraving is much more of a 'craft' than 3d printing, the sheer range of materials and techniques ensures that every job is a one-off. With my printers I strive for reproducibility, but for laser art I want everything to be slightly 'individual', it's part of the charm.
