My Idea is tu finally have the printer working with X and Y with sensorless and with this configuration is working fine, my problem is on Z, I bought an original Bltouch buy is on the way so right now I only would like to use my bed with sensorless or with manual calibration but it doesnt' work, I tried with bot Z motors connected to serial and now I'm trying with one motor to Z the other on E1 but when I start the printer and click on home Z it goes in blue without do Home and if I click to move down it moves if I click on move up it does a noise.
    Who can help me?

    Thanks

      @Dav said in Software Configuration:

      M574 X1 Y1 Z1 S3 ; set endstops controlled by motor stall detection

i dont think stall detection is accurate enough for z.

      see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Stall_detection_and_sensorless_homing

The stepper drivers only update the stall detection state every 1 or 4 full steps, depending on configuration. So the actual position of the stall is uncertain to either +/- half a full step or +/- 2 full steps. This means that when using stall detection to replace endstop switches, the position defined by the stall is much less accurate than with typical endstop switches.

      M305 P1 T100000 B4138 R4700 ; set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1

B4138 is the default and almost certainly wrong for your thermistor

stall detection endstops for the Z axis are very difficult to tune. I don't recommend it. Even if you get it tuned to work when the motors are cold, when they are hot after a long print, they won't respond the same way.

If you want to have a way of homing Z in a probe like manner before your bltouch arrives, use probe type M558 P0. That will allow for manual probing where a jog dialogue will pop up and allow you to jog the Z axis to Z0 whenever probing is required (G29, G30)

          Ok change my config.h

I don't know how to setup my homez and bed to manual mesh, who can help me?

what happends if you issue G30 or G29.

it should come up with instructions on what to do.

@Veti If I send G30 first I need to home x and y after a popup appear but stay out of my bed and after I level and click ok all 3 axes going blue

You can simplify your homeZ to have a simple positioning of the nozzle to the point you want to probe with a G1 X Y move, and then a G30 to prompt to probe the bed.

Finally solved my problem, removed the sensor less on Z and put fisical endstop.
I bought a new original endstop and it works without problems!

Now I have a question, do you know if is possible to enable bltouch for autolevel and 2 endstop for the home? I have double motor and sometimes I move my bed a little and is not perfect height.

                  Thanks

are you walking about something like this?
