accidentally shorted the hot end cooling fan. Always on fans work fine, but fan 0, 1 and 2 I cannot get the fan to move.

I tested continuity per the image below from this thread https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/3652/shorted-hotend-fan-no-fan-work-anymore/3

      and I have 0 ohms.

anything else I should look for?

forgot to add using 24 V fans. Also I measure across fan 0 V-fan and fan0- my multimeter reads 20V

That test only applies to older Duets, before we added the fan fuse,

anything else I should look for?

Test for continuity between the centre pin of the V_FAN jumper block and the V_FAN pins of the 3 non-working fan outputs.

If the hot end fan shorted out, it will probably have fan mosfet that was driving that fan. But I would not expect the other 2 fan mosfets to be affected.

@dc42 tested continuity between the 3 non working fan outputs from the pins as well as from the back of the board and I come up with 0.2 Ohms.

I tried moving the jumper pin to 5V and putting a new 5v fan on but no luck there either.

It sounds like failed fan mosfets then.
