RE: Part Cooling Fan Reprap 3
@Phaedrux I thought they looked fine
How hard are they to replace? As long as I know what I'm looking at I can resolder new ones in. Or pivot to a heater pin to use for the fan

@Phaedrux I'm moving the slider on he dashboard.
When I try M106 the fan remains off

Part Cooling Fan Reprap 3
Hello I cannot for the life of me get my part cooling fan to work
Part Cooling fan is plugged into fan 1 and heatsink fan is plugged into fan 2. I shorted the mosfet on the board for fan 0 so I shifted everything down. When I plug the part cooling fan into the always on pins, spins up no trouble.
The heat sink fan works just fine. Turns on at 45C as expected.

RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
where are they at on the board. happy to replace them as long as i know what i am looking at

RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
@dc42 tested continuity between the 3 non working fan outputs from the pins as well as from the back of the board and I come up with 0.2 Ohms.
I tried moving the jumper pin to 5V and putting a new 5v fan on but no luck there either.

RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
@jens55 checked and replaced even just to be sure

RE: shorted hot end cooling fan.
forgot to add using 24 V fans. Also I measure across fan 0 V-fan and fan0- my multimeter reads 20V
