      I'm a new DuetWifi owner.
      Installing in a BigBox Dual.

I went to try to update the firmware (first power on after install into BigBox) and the web control shows Connecting… when trying to connect.

The DuetWifi is on my local wifi. I've tried using a USB cable and I get the same thing.
      What am i doing wrong?

You might have erased the firmware
        Try re-flashing it

You may have ended up with incompatible versions of DuetWebControl, DuetWiFiServer, and DuetWiFiFirmware. Try this:

          1. Edit sys/config.g on the SD card, commenting out the M552 S1 command that enables the network. While you are at it, put the latest versions of DuetWiFiFirmware.bin, DuetWiFiServer.bin and DuetWebControl.bin ni the /sys folder of the SD card. Make sure they have exactly these names, i.e. remove the version numbers from the names of the files you downloaded.

          2. Put the SD card back in the Duet and see whether you can connect via USB.

          3. If you can't connect via USB, check whether your PC can see the board as a Duet. If it shows up as an unknown device, then you don't have the correct device driver installed.

          4. If you still can't connect via USB, download sam-ba, then erase and re-flash the firmware.

          5. When you are connected via USB, run M115 to check you are running the latest DuetWiFiFirmware (1.18.1). Then use M997 S1 and M997 S2 to update DuetWiFiServer and DuetWebControl.

          6. Send M552 S1 to re-enable WiFi, and you should be able to connect via WiFi.

          7. Edit config.g over the network to re-enable the M552 S1 command.

                Hi Dc42 David,
I can not at all connect to my Wi-Fi network. I installed the latest version of the FW stable with 1.3 DuetWifiServer, but nothing When I type M552 S1 does not appear to enable the connection of IP Duet. He did the procedure with Sam Ba, then erase and re-flash the firmware. (Windows)
the latest DuetWiFiFirmware (1.18.1). I used the commands M997 M997 S1 and S2 to update DuetWiFiServer and DuetWebControl (iMac) But nothing to do does not come out to me the IP Duet with M552 S1 command. Use Windows to re-flash with Sam Ba and Mac / Crome to update Server / DWC. I do not see the end is five hours that I try in every possible way but nothing. Problems with DuetWifiServer? Very bad my English, sorry

I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

Does the WiFi module start up in access point mode, and are you able to connect to it, selected your access point, and enter the password?

A known issue is that passwords containing accented characters will not be processed correctly.

Can i just triple check something.

When you have the DuetWifi in access point mode (it says so in the pronterface output you pasted in a previous comment), you then connect to the DuetWifi access point. When you go to 192.168.1.1 in your web browser, do you get a basic screen showing your WiFi network SSID (and maybe other nearby networks?) You then have to enter your WiFi network password and save, then reboot.
