I lost one board by connecting power in wrong direction. I think I can remove the connectors but is there anything else to spare?

Have you checked the fuse first?
I've done that before and changing the fuse fixed it -
The 10 amp fuse is ok

Maybe hold off a little and see if this thread catches on?
You might just find someone relative local willing to repair it for you.
Edit: someone forgot to include a link ... words have been had...

@bearer @Pertti I think you're both in Scandinavia, so should talk! Maybe your first repair

In practical terms its mostly EU vs not EU, but my proposed solution puts the postage and customs paperwork in the hands of the owner so doesn't matter to me, happy to help even though I'm on the short list of European countries not in the EU.. Maybe should find another term than customer to avoid confusion that this is a paid offering, beyond owner covering costs.

I agonised over that for a few seconds, but couldn't think of anything better. But have now!
I did quite a few repairs including processor swaps on Duet 0.6 boards, and on earlier Arduino-based Melzis at RepRapPro, but I'm not set up to do them any more. MOSFETs and smaller packages like the voltage regulators are pretty easy, but the processor is tougher to get right.

No worries, smooth edit!:)
Usually just use hot air and a iron, but I have one of those infrared rework stations with top and bottom heating so the limiting factor is usually a stencil if needed, but chips with pins usually don't need a stencil.
