I have ran the config tool 18 times now trying to figure out what im doing wrong and at this point i have no clue every time something goes wrong. At this point the bltouch will not run it start up test. I followed the link DIY-O-Sphere posted earlier in the post and made sure i matched my config tool settings to the images provided and still nothing is working. I would be VERY happy if ANYONE can shed some light on whats going on. Everything worked befor I updated.

I have an ender 3 with a duet meastro, bltouch and a fused3d bed that has a NTC100K thermistor.

The most recent config is below.

        Thanks for the help.

Not quite, you need the ^ in front of zprobe.in. Also, in RRF3.0 you need to put the M558 command before the M950 command, because the default Z probe uses pin "zprobe.mod" as well as "zprobe.in". In RRF 3.01 it doesn't matter, because there is no default Z probe.

            M558 P9 C"^zprobe.in" H5 F120 T6000 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds
            M950 S0 C"zprobe.mod" ; create servo pin 0 for BLTouch

This is all documented at https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_a_Z_probe#Section_Software_setup_RepRapFirmware_Num_3.

Yes, as @kmhudgins said he is using.

You need the ^ in front of zprobe.in for any Duet 2 running RRF3 with a recent version BLTouch. This is because recent versions of BLTouch have open-drain outputs.

                  recent versions of BLTouch

Thank you for clarification. Now I am clear about why my BLT 2.0.... works without pullup (^)
Maybe a note in the wiki guide about the different versions of BLT would be helpful.

I made this change to the config.g but it did not change anything. the bltouch shill wont run the start up test and therefor just has a blinking red light.

Have you replaced all files in sys folder? Or only the config.g?
Have you checked the version of your BLTouch?

You can check the probe by sending:
                      M280 P0 S120

For RRF3 the deployprobe.g and retractprobe.g have to be modified.
