Maestro + RRF3 + BLTouch... Won't Deploy
-
Hi guys,
I have read and read the wikis and other related threads, but don't see what I am missing here.
Wiring looks good. When it powers up the BLTouch (v3.1) deploys twice and stays red.
But when I issue a:
M280 P0 S10
Nothing happens.
I have tried with and without the '^' for the zprobe.in definition, because the config generator didn't use it, but the wiki said you must. I also tried without the '^' for the zprobe.mod, because the config generator adds it, but the wiki doens't mention it.
Here is my config.g:

Any help would be much appreciated!

Not sure, but i think in probe section M558 should be before M950 to define where probe signal goes and to free up zprobe.mod pin.

That's correct for RRF 3.0, but not necessary in the 3.01RC series.

Perfect, that did it!
I'm surprised that the config generator got the ordering wrong. I would have thought you defined the pin first, than configured the probe.
Thank you!

Could I ask you a question about the wiki?
5. Set up the probe offsets, trigger height and trigger value in G31: G31 X20 Y0 Z3.3 P25 In this example the trigger height is 3.3mm (you will need to measure it) and the probe is offset from the head reference point by 10mm in the +X direction.
Is this just a typo, or do you really need to double the actual offset amount in the definition?

It was a type, which I've just corrected. Thanks for pointing it out.
