BlTouch setup on Duet 3. Probe will not deploy with G30

Hi,
I am trying to set up a BLtouch with my DUET 3. I used the configuration tool and read the trouble shooting guide. My deploy and retract files are right and I can manually deploy and retract with the M280 commands. The M401 and M402 command do not work.

I cannot figure out what I am missing here. Please help.

You need to tell or show us with photos how you have connected the BLTouch to the Duet 3. Also tell us exactly which firmware version you are running, as reported by M115.

I recenetly saw someone had to rename their deploy and retract files to deployprobe0.g and retractprobe0.g

That will be the case if you install RRF 3.01-RC4 on a Duet 3 with attached SBC and you don't also upgrade to DSF 1.2.5.

Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 3 MB6HC 3.01-RC4 (2020-03-16b1)

IO_7 IN to BLtouch OUt (white)
IO_7 GND to BLTOUCH gnd Black + brown wire
IO_7 OUT to bltouch control (yellow)
IO_7 5+ to bltouch 5+ orange

The unit works when I issue M280 P0 S10 manually. It will detect 0 it just doesnt deploy or retract

It sounds like I need to upgrade my DSF

I did upgrade DSF but no luck

Board: Duet 3 MB6HC (MB6HC)
DSF Version: 1.2.4.0
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 3 MB6HC v0.6 or 1.0 3.0 (2020-01-03b3)

I recreated the config from scratch after updating DSF. The probe is deploying and retracting now.
