      Hello,
I Ordered right now a Duet3, as my MGN Cube (CoreXy) with Moon motors is really noise... (Duet Wifi is a Clone)
And i hope that the Duet3 will solve this!

How "easy" i can take my actual config?
Anything i have to take care?
I did not found any "upgrade" document.

      One other question:
      Raspberry Pi or not?
I want to use the PanelDue 4,3 from my actual setup. I read already about the "file limitation" in combination with a Pi.
I guess that Wifi would be included in the "Pi".
But which advantage I would get in parallel??

      Shortly summarized the setup:
      CoreXY
      BLTouch
      PanelDue
      NeoPixel over Arduino Sniffer
      1x Hotend

      Thank you!

@empi00 I’m also in the process of changing my mgn cube over to a duet 3. I am still working on some mechanical upgrades, but once I get those finished I’m happy to compare notes with you on the firmware setup!

Easier to expand the functionality of the software, if you don't need that you won't have much advantage with the Pi as it currently stands.

@bearer my duet wifi is running already on RepRap 3.
So my question was more, moving from a Duet Wifi FW3 to a Duet 3.

Have some extrusion problems etc, but that is a different topic and will end up maybe in a seperate thread, if I can not solve it.

gotcha, then just the pin names, the Duet3 are all generic like out0 etc. so e0heat becomes out1 etc.

ref https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/RepRapFirmware_3_overview#Section_Pin_names has a list for all the boards to compare.

The stepper drivers are still named 0...5 so if you wire them according to their old numbers then no change to the config - except you can add stealth chop settings.
