Is firmware 3.1.1 reliable?
-
Hi,
I was thinking of upgrading one of my printers from 2.x.x to 3.1.1 (following the required steps) and get up to speed on the various changes.
For those that are using 3.1.1 are you finding it to be trouble free?
Thanks.

From my view of the support issues coming in, 3.1.1 is far improved and would be ready for normal use.

Your opinion is good enough for me.
Off I go to upgrade...

I am not aware of any bugs in 3.1.1 that are not either also in 2.05.1 or only affect features new to v3 e.g. conditional GCode.

I would also recommend getting a config from the web tool to compare against. It helps alot to have all the correct syntax in place from the get go rather than try to manually convert everything.

Already did that but it was just to see how the web tool worked.
I need to go back and enter the actual values for the printer in question.
But I'm starting to see how things go together.
The firmware update went fine and now 3.1.1 is up and running.
