Error: M24: Cannot print, because no file is selected!
This pops up after a successful first color followed by a purge-pot routine - not temperature related. The filament change is handled by Duet tool change macros, not coded in the slicer (S3D). Everything seems to be running smoothly up to this point. M24 is the last code line in the purge pot macro (Called from Tpost(n) ).
Follows is the code snippet at the filament swap ( no layer change here) and it looks copacetic to me.

I'm at a loss as to where to look for the problem

Why are you using M24 at all?

Damned if I remember. I'm trying but 88 year grey cells don't function as well as one would wish. Excuses, excuses !! Thanks for the help.

So removing M24 solves the problem and has no side effects?

@Phaedrux I believe that is correct but there are some other things going on which, though unlikely, may be related.
