G32 Error:´´ Z probe was not triggered during probing move´´

@fcwilt something to do with this code in config.g?
; Z-Probe M558 P9 C"io4.in" H10 F200 T1800 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds M950 S0 C"io4.out" ; create servo pin 0 for BLTouch G31 P25 X-20 Y-20 Z2.5 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height M557 X15:650 Y15:650 S200 ; define mesh grid

Hi,
Now we are getting somewhere I think.
Notice on the left hand side you have MACROS selected.
Is that correct?
If so the files there are not the system files the firmware is using.
Those file are in the SYSTEM directory - the item below the MACROS item.
Select the SYSTEM item and take a look and see what is there.
Frederick
-
@fcwilt
ahhhh I know what you mean.... at the systems page my bed.g is:; bed.g ; called to perform automatic bed compensation via G32 ; ; generated by RepRapFirmware Configuration Tool v3.1.3 on Tue Jun 23 2020 22:36:44 GMT+0200 (Mitteleuropäische Sommerzeit) M561 ; clear any bed transform G29 ; probe the bed and enable compensation
-
Hi,
Well there is the G29 that G32 has been invoking.
I think you have a problem with files being in the MACROS directory rather than the SYSTEM directory.
You are going to have to determine if the some or all files in the MACROS directory need to be moved to the SYSTEMS directory.
If the files in the SYSTEMS directory are the ones you want to keep you should delete the files in the MACROS directory that have the same name.
For example - you should have homeall.g in your SYSTEMS directory. You should NOT have homeall.g in your MACROS directory.
Think you can get this sorted out?
Frederick
-
yes.. I know. It was stupid....
Now I took every code into the systems page.
Now, I have the message ´´failed to enable endstops´´when I make a single z probe. -

@barbarossa-cologne
Did you overwrite any files already in the SYSTEMS directory that were the correct ones?
For example if you moved a file config.g and overwrote the config.g file already in the SYSTEMS directory the file you moved may not be correct.
Frederick
-
Hi again.
The config.g file you just posted - does it seem to be correct?
At the bottom there is the word "deploy" which is not a valid command.
Frederick
-
@fcwilt
I don´t know if it´s correct. In general I used the configuration tool.. Only the option for true auto leveling I manaully placed in the g.codes. I have 4 z axis..
That´s my first printer and up to now (since one month) nobody could help me that much, that I can start print. It is sad and I´m a bloody beginner with a big printer -
@fcwilt
the word ´´deploy´´ and everything around it in the g.code is made by the configuration tool of!!!! how can it be wrong? -

@fcwilt
the word ´´deploy´´ and everything around it in the g.code is made by the configuration tool of!!!! how can it be wrong?I don't know. I've only used the config tool one and that was to generate a basic printer file for my kind of printer.
Then I looked at the generated code to learn how v3 firmware does things.
Then I edited my v2 files to meet the requirements of v3 firmware.
Not to worry - we determined the basic problem - your files were a bit messed up.
Do you know who to select all files in the SYSTEMS directory and use the "Download as ZIP" feature to get all of the files into a single ZIP file?
If you know how to do that do so and post the ZIP file here. I will download it and examine the files.
That will take a while so I won't be able to get right back to you.
Frederick

@fcwilt
I can´t send the zip here, rigth?
There comes a message with ´´invalid file type´´ -

@fcwilt
Thanks a lot!!!!!! and take your time. -

Thanks a lot!!!!!! and take your time.I will try to look at them tonight after dinner on in the morning.
However I have to assist my wife who is having surgery on Wednesday and I will be with her from noon Tuesday until Thursday or Friday.

@fcwilt
No stress. take your time.
Maybe you´ll first find out whats causing the ´´Error: Failed to enable endstops´´.
But take your time. Your family is more important!
Guten Appetit! -
I'll try to catch up on this thread later today/tomorrow.

Thanks. I might not have time.
I suspect that it is just a question of errors in the files.
A quick check of config.g showed some garbage at the end.

@Phaedrux Thanks and no stress.
I´m not the only one who needs help. -
Ok, I've got caught up. Thanks very much to @fcwilt for all the troubleshooting. Well done. Turned out it was a case of the old config files in the wrong place.
So let's start from the top and see if we can get things up and running finally.

Duet 3 MB6HC version 3.01-RC9
You should update the firmware before we go any further.
Download this zip file and upload it AS IS to the /sys folder in DWC. Do not extract it.https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.1.1/Duet2and3Firmware-3.1.1.zip
It should detect the firmware upload and install it. After it will reboot. Then send M115 in the gcode console to verify that it was successfully applied.
As for the config files, I think you should go through the config tool and create a fresh set of config files. Try and choose everything as accurately as possible. Then download the config zip file and upload it to the /sys folder as is as well. That should place your new config set in the correct place.
https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/Start
Also upload those files here so that we can double check them.
Please provide the following details here as well so that we can compare to what is in the config.
How big is the printer area?
What kind of endstops do you have?
Where are the endstops located on the printer and where are they connected?
What are your heaters and how are the connected?
What are your fans and how are they connected?
What are your motors and how are they connected?
How is the BLtouch connected?Once we have the basics up and running. Motors. Homing. Heaters. Fans. We can make the changes needed for automatic bed leveling.
