Idle temperature hot-end and bed to high
-
post your config.
did you follow the guide for the maestro and took the maestro resistance values for the duet wifi?
-
@Veti Yes I did. I followed the guide to the letter
-
@Veti I will post my config tomorrow, I just turned the printer off
-
@dden said in Idle temperature hot-end and bed to high:

that would be wrong as the duet wifi has different resistance value
-
@Veti Ok so now I am worried. Let’s dig in tomorrow

M350 X16 Y16 Z16 E128 I1 ; configure microstepping with interpolation
M92 X80.00 Y80.00 Z400.00 E790.00 ; set steps per mmThe Duet wifi can not do 128 with interpolation. only x16. Maestro can do x128 with interpolation
Adjust the E Steps accordingly.@dden said in Idle temperature hot-end and bed to high:

@Veti Thanks I will correct these settings.
-
@Veti I corrected the settings and now everything works like a charm. Thank you very much for your help. Much appreciated!!
-
@dden you can just leave the R value out. The firmware knows the proper value from the hardware.

@droftarts Thanks good to know.
