              @Veti mototrs are part no 17hs19-2004s1.
              I dont think theyre the culprit because i have had good prints before with them. The printer sat for 6 months or so so i came back to a bunch or random issues and not remembering much about the printer

                those are 2A motors. you are running them with not enough current. set the current to 1500ma

                  @Veti done. would that cause my issues or could there be more? its ran fin on 1000mA current since i got it, but now that i think of it, the prints were never perfect.

                      @Veti also would you know where i can find a chart or something for setting thermistors? i need to adjust both of my printers. this is the bed heater NTC 100K thermistor ( Beta 25/50 3950K-1%

                                      how heavy is your bed, that you need 5:1 stepper drivers?

                                          @Veti it's not too heavy. Approx 300x 200y, with some 2040 extrusions. Main reason is the z axis is belted rather than leadscrews

                                            assuming you have a gt2 setup with 20 teeth
                                            motor is 5.18:1
                                            that would be 414.4
