    Hi there!

I've recently joined the duet fanclub as an owner, and I really do like the adventure that this board has taken me on!
The patient is an FLSUN QQ-S Pro, and after getting the wiring done, work on the proper configuration has started, and of course, being a newbie, I've hit a roadblock I can't seem to get over...

The basic problem is that when homing, the endstops don't stop the tower from pushing forward and tries to keep going. Here's the twist: according to M119, all the endstops are in their proper state and when I manually trigger each endstop and M119 again, the changes are reflected. According to M119 every endstop is in working order.

I'm happy to post any and all config files if that helps!

Thank you for looking into this 🙂

The config came from the online configuration tool, delta parameters came from an "old" mks_robin config file for the QQ-S.

Only the Z-probe switch has been inverted through manual editing.

        The M119 log:

        10/19/2020, 3:58:23 PM: m119: Endstops - X: not stopped, Y: not stopped, Z: not stopped, Z probe: not stopped
10/19/2020, 3:58:34 PM: m119: Endstops - X: not stopped, Y: not stopped, Z: at min stop, Z probe: not stopped
10/19/2020, 3:58:43 PM: m119: Endstops - X: at min stop, Y: not stopped, Z: not stopped, Z probe: not stopped
10/19/2020, 3:58:52 PM: m119: Endstops - X: not stopped, Y: at min stop, Z: not stopped, Z probe: not stopped
10/19/2020, 3:59:13 PM: m119: Endstops - X: not stopped, Y: at min stop, Z: not stopped, Z probe: at min stop

@Meki said in Homing issues on a Delta with Duet 2:

          ; Endstops M574 X1 Y1 Z1 S1 ; set active low and disabled endstops

          This should be M574 X2 Y2 Z2 S1 for high end endstops.

If you're a new user to Duet and this is a new build, it might be a good time to jump to RRF v3.1.1 since you're getting a fresh config from the config tool anyway.

Updating the firmware is easy as uploading two zip files.

          https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.0/Duet2and3Firmware-3.0.zip

          https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.1.1/Duet2and3Firmware-3.1.1.zip

First upload the 3.0 zip file as is without extracting. Then after it updates, do the same for 3.1.1 zip file.

Then you can upload the config file set from the web tool for RRF3.

your thermistor settings are wrong. look up the correct beta value in your thermistor documentation.

Well, I've upgraded to RRF 3, had a little issue with the iap4e.bin file, bot solved it... I'm now running RRF 3.1.1, but still the grinding is there on the endstops and my z-probe has stopped producing any results... it's locked to at min stop... at least the endstops say at max stop when triggered manually...

So, z-probe broke, and the towers still want to blow off... 😢

I'm guessing that the z-probe pin now expects to be on the z-probe-in pin instead of e0_stp as in the RRF2...

@Veti Thanks, but I've got no idea what type of thermistor is in place... FLSUN has been making changes and documentation is scarce to say the least... at least it's a cartridge type instead of the original bare glass bead version...

Nothing looks incorrect in your homing files so I don't see why the endstops aren't triggering correctly.

In the M558, P4 is no longer supported and P5 should be used instead.

                        @jay_s_uk Z-probe is fixed, thanks!

And believe my, I'm just as baffled... M119 reports that all the endstops are in the neutral state and when I'm going around, triggering them manually M119 reports that the endstops are triggered...

@jay_s_uk, @Phaedrux, @Veti thanks for all the help!

After quadruple checking, it turns out that the endstops were mixed up.
Since then, everything is in working order!
