      Hello,
after I rebuilt my IDEX printer, I wanted to do the software configuration today.
As described in the documentation, I moved the nozzle onto the print bed and set G92 Z0. After measuring the Z offset (0.8404mm) several times, I entered it in the G31 Command of config.g.
When I start a print with Tool 0, the nozzle is far too high above the print bed.
      I do not understand that.

Anybody of yours offering an idea?

      Thanks
      gringo

          Can you post your config.g?
          Can you post your homeall.g?
Can you send M122 and post the results?
Can you send M98 P"config.g" and post the results?

After updating config.g did you reboot the printer or run config.g via M98?

Printers: a small Utilmaker style, a small CoreXY and a E3D MS/TC setup. Various hotends. Using Duet 3 hardware running 3.4.6

what do you mean far to high?
normally after measuring the offset i adjust the first layer by babystepping and then add the babystepping to the offset to get the final result.

                M308 S0 P"bedtemp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4138 ; configure sensor 0 as thermistor on pin bedtemp
                M308 S1 P"duex.e2temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4138 ; configure sensor 1 as thermistor on pin e0temp
                M308 S2 P"duex.e3temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4138 ; configure sensor 2 as thermistor on pin e1temp

B4138 is the default and wrong for your thermistors. find the correct beta value in your thermistor documentation.

When i Start a Printjob the Nozzle is 0,84mm above the Bed.
That is excactly the G31 Z Trigger Distance.
For testing i changed the G31 Z in Z-0,8404 and started a Printjob. The Nozzle was 1,6mm above the Bed.
                  But why?

because this defines the trigger height below the nozzle. so if you want the bed to be closer you have to add, not subtract.

Yes, this was a Test. To see what happened.

But why do I have to enter the double distance in the G31 Command?

Thanks for the Thermistor tip. I have installed Semitec 104GT2.

                        that not required.
maybe your bed is warping while beeing heated.

We can only guess since you haven't shown us the rest of your gcode.
