I have enstaled a new hotend. Slice mosquito magnum,, im collecting plastic on the tip of my nozzle. Not sure why
I have a bmg -m. Extruder direct drive monted above my hotend. Ive set my retactons at two mm.The benchy has what seems to be an underextrution right under the rear window almost like the whole line was missing or really under extruded. when it gets to the top of the doors it knock off part of the print because of the plastic build up on the nozzle. What could be causing the build up in the nozzle. Do i have enough extractions
And its not leaking around the thread of the nozzle
Any idea what might be causing the tip to collect loose plastic -

2mm retraction for a direct drive is at the very limit. You may have too much retraction causing a slight blockage in the heat break. I would reduce it to 1mm and possibly lower for retraction length. For my E3D V6 and bondtech direct drive I am around 1.2mm and retract speed of 35mm/s.

As we like to say in 3D printing... baby steps.
