Hey, i think i damage my fan output on my duet, it worked fine, but i think i wired a new fan wrong polarity, and now i dont get 24V on the fans, even on the allwys on fans is nothing, i checked the Fuse and it is not popped.

Can it be that i damaged something else?

Check your fan mosfets for damage.

see here for an example iamge.

i think they look fine, also the Allways in fans dont get any voltage...
so it cant be a mosfet

also this is a V1.03 i dont and it has only one fuse on it, i dont even know if this is a fan fuse or something else, i think i broke my board,

Than is the question, im running a 24v printer with a duex with 12V for fans. how does the duet control the fans, via the ground pin? than i could go on 24V on my psu with the fans and control them over the expansion fan ports on the duex

So i heard that it it possible to put the VIN from the fan on the psu and the GND on the Duex, i did that and it worked, but the fan dont want to shut of entirely, but it was controllable, what seems a little strange to me, also the fan spins a little on every fan ouput even if i dont asseign them in the config.

my solution is to put the part cooling fan on the heater 1 Output and the Cold end fan on the PSU. Can i put a fan on the heater ouput or do i damage the board with that?

i Found a other solution, it seems like the Fan putputs on my duet arent getting 24v , so i put out the jumper and feat them 24V on the middle Pin directly, now the fans ware working again properly

The Fan MOSFETS now have a miniblade fuse in the VIN supply (not 5V supply).

so if your vin is 0 then the fuse is blown.
