Well guess what...............HOMING WORKS!!!! Went to the endstops and stopped! Question...Z axis...positive value is up or down? Z positive and the bed moves down. I have a feeling its supposed to be reversed. I repaired the wire on one of the Z stepper wires.

And the BLT is making the bed stop moving up so that works. Now I guess I have to do a test print and adjust the distance from the nozzle to the bed, make sure the BLT is working on leveling, extruder speed, and manual bed leveling before I use the BLT

when the bed is at the bltouch trigger that is z=0 the further the bed moves away from the bltouch, z increases.
so for the ender 5 plus i think going down is positive

OK so its correct then. Whats my next step? BLT distance ? Extruder motor speed and stuff? I have a Micro Swiss direct drive all metal installed. I was reading the directions and they said 1 or 2 things have to be changed. As far as leveling, manual first then use the BLT? I guess use the wheel adjustments in each corner? How do I know when its correct? Should I use a level? Any way for the machine to tell me?

what exactly do you mean by quiet?

                        stand still noise?

When the Z's are going up and down during the mesh test, they are louder than others

yes, z movement with a leadscrew is noisier than other movements.

Ok so I got it to start printing benchy. I couldnt do the esteps measurement because it looks like I cant with the DD extruder I have. Anyways, its extruding too much. The nozzle is pushing the extruded filament around. So how do I cut it in half. I will play around with it till its perfect. Im using PLA that came with the printer. Printing at 220 with bed at 65. I have steel nozzle and I read that I should print 5-10 degrees hotter than normal.
