    Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if its normal for a new Duet 3 6HC (unconfigured) to turn on the heater outputs automatically when connected to a heater i am only using one output but when the hotend is connected any output's the heater is powered ?

other than that the red status led is off presumably because the circuit is not complete.

no, it is not normal for a heater output to automatically turn on.
Best way to test is to remove the SD card and power the board. If the output comes on, the mosfet has died. If it doesn't, you have an issue with your config.

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is
