Duet 2 wifi dont respond to anything
-
Yesterday i started up the printer and nothing happend. Looked att the board and all leds are on, not the wifi led. Cant connect to pc via the usb cable. Nothing shows up in device manager. Nothing happens when i press the reset button. Nothing happens when i tried and erase. Same thing with the usb and with a 12v supply. No componets are hot, the card is just dead. Luckely i had a spare Duet 2 wifi but i want this one to work to. I now have two dead duet 2 wifi boards. Please help!

but unless your problem is the usb cable sounds like the cpu is faulty.
however if you haven't tried without sd card as pr the link then try that, and a different usb cable or four.

Sometimes you can tell something if you click your endstops and see that the endstop LED changes.

thats not an indication of functioning firmware/cpu as the LED is connected directly to the endstop pin, through the current limiting resistor and to 3.3v. at best it an indication of functional 3.3v supply, but thats what the green 3.3v LED is for.

Maybe OP could elaborate on the "all leds are on" refering to https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Hardware_Overview#Section_LED_indications

@bearer Sorry wrong of me. The leds that are on all the time is Diag, USB Power (when USB cable is connected) 3.3v, 5v and VIN (when 12v/24v is connected). The problem is that Diag led is on all the time.

If trying other usb cables (and/or a different computer) without the SD card inserted then I'm afraid odds are repairs are likely needed.
Local hacker space, or community could be options. CPUs are about €7 each in small qty, might be worth it, might not if more stuff is damaged.

@bearer Thanks for the help.

@bearer Right, it's an verification that the low-voltage power is on is what I meant.
