I've a dual extruder with two tools. Both have a simple run out sensor. I'm running 3.2 and having unloaded filament in T1 I want to run a print using just T0. T0 is active yet when I start the print it pauses telling me T1 is out of filament. I thought the FW was tool sensitive? Maybe I need to do something.

Might just be easiest to send the command to disable monitoring of the sensor when not in use. Could even make it part of the tool change files. Have it monitor on tool selection and then stop monitoring in tpost.

@Phaedrux Thanks. I'll have a thing about how to work things.
