Down grade after catastrophic upgrade issues
-
I have 2 sdcards. They both started with a working copy of my tool changer setup running 2.x firmware.
I modified the config.g in one of the sdcards and installed RRF3 on it ( first 3.0 then 3.2.2)
When I ran with the RRF3 sdcard, my hemera melted and burned ( even the heater block is warped).
I removed the RRF3 sdcard and re-installed the previously working RRF2 sdcard. I disconnected the melted hemera tool. I am now getting errors with heating and movement.
How do I begin to debug this problem?
Thanks!

@GeneRisi share the config file that was on the SD card when the heater burned.

The firmware resides on the board, not the SD card. To run RRF3 it needs to be installed on the Duet, likewise with RRF2. Out put from the gcode status command will confirm what you are running.

I'd suggest you disconnect the heaters until you have confirmed everything else is as it should be.

Perhaps it would be best to stick to your existing thread.

@Phaedrux I would be happy to take it back there. This thread will end and move back to
