Printing Problems
-
Hello, I have a problem with my printer which I can not classify, so I thought I just ask here if anyone has seen the problem by chance before.
I have a Voron V2 with eig well-built mechanics.The problem is this, when I want to print a lot of parts at once, the printer spins a little.
It extrudes way too much material on the 20-30 layer causing a line in the print parts.
But it only does this when I print more than 5 parts, before that everything is great.
I wonder if it is the software of the printer or if it is a different problem.
Unfortunately I am not sure. -
Which slicer are you using? Do you have tried it with another slicer yet?
-
@cosmowave I use superslicer, and no i didnt tryed an other slicer.
Im running 3 printers and the moment.
All Vorons and for all im slicing with SuperSlicer, but only on printer does have this fault.
But i could try it. -
@mauricem and it's allways layer 23 which makes problems?
-
@cosmowave
not that was just a bad example, but it is allways a very low layer.
never at the top. -
@mauricem when the same gcode is printing well on another machine, then it seems to be a mechanical or extruder problem of that printer.
Eventually ther eis a problem with the extruder or the hotend. Sometimes the heatbed (bang-bang-mode) has an electric influence on other systems in the printer...
-
@cosmowave ok that could be.
First i will try an other slicer, than i will test it with my other printers.But they all build exactly the same, and the power off the bed should be the same. no matter how many parts i have on the bed.
Thats why im so confused.
-
@mauricem you're right, when it is depending on the number of parts on the printbed it's very strange....
How are the parts looking? Have they a very special shape? Do you have very much retractions while printing these parts? -
@cosmowave No thats some really easy parts, expacially on that height, they are only some shafts.
-
@mauricem Can it be, that there is a problem with the z axle? you can check if it is running smoothly and all screws are tight.
-
@cosmowave i found the issue, somehow and i dont know why, it is a cooling issue, i think because of layertime ect.
But thanks for ur help. im glad that it is only that. -
@mauricem Perfect!
Happy printing!
