@aparkin I use it on a printNC and get on fine with it.
Just make sure you have an estop and you'll be fine

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

@aparkin Ooznest have been selling their Workbee CNC with the Duet controller for over two years now. I have one of their machines and it works very well for me.

I'm just starting on setting up my Duet for an MPCNC. I've got the firmware set up, I just need to do the wiring. The interface looks good, and I have to think that it'll be better than the MKS board that I've got doing the job now.

Lead screw driven printer, powered by Duet 2 Wifi
MPCNC powered by Duet 2 Wifi
CoreXY printer driven by Duet 3 6HC
LowRider CNC powered by Duet 2 Wifi

@chimaeragh what size nema motors you ruining and amp problems
i'm thinking of nema 23 2.8amp and i think it leaves very little head room i don't like running things at 95%
i have a 290 quid order in the basket at ooznest ali profile and lead screws thinking of doing a 1m square foot print leaving me i'm guessing 600 to 700 mm of working space

@aparkin with mine I run external drivers. DM860H
Motos should be ran at around 80%. As long as you set them at 2.25Amp and actively cool the board (and assuming its a duet 2) you'll be fine

@aparkin Ooznest has configured their motors to run at 2.4amps max. They are Nema 23s

I'm running a CNC with Nema23s from a DuetWifi. It works well. I've got my drivers set to 2.3A and am using active cooling with heatsinks on the chips. I've not noticed any issues after 100s of hours of milling.
