Ethernet stopped working

Duet 3 Mini5+ ethernet. Has been working since I installed it but this morning it no longer works. No lights on e-port. When connected to USB, I went through the procedure of disabling, then enabling with the reserved IP address. I can access DWC on a browser but in the System there is no config.g. Only config.json. When I unplug USB and power back on, ethernet is again not working.
Any ideas? -
@norwestie Without a config.g with the networking commands, networking won't be enabled

When connect via USB and the SD card in the Duet, send M39, what does it say about the SD card?
Does the SD card have files on it when you put it in a PC?
I think this is an SD card issue and the ethernet not working is just a symptom of that, as @Stephen6309 points out, the networking commands in config.g need to be executed at startup for networking to work. You've shown that networking does work when you send the commands manually.
When and where did you purchase the Duet 3 mini5+?

@phaedrux I copied the config.g file from my computer to the SD card and all is well. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
