        I've posted my config.g for TronXY X5A (earlier version of X5SA): https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/23222/setting-up-duet2-wifi-for-tronxy-x5sa/2?_=1621257336334

It will be largely the same as yours, except I set X0 Y0 at the centre of the bed, and the different names for pins as I'm using Duet 2 WiFi. I use the standard endstops for homing X and Y, and BLTouch on Z. If your microswitch endstops are still fitted, I'd initially use them until you're comfortable changing to sensorless homing. Sensorless homing will be less precise and repeatable than mechanical endstops, as it takes up to 4 full microsteps to register a stall, whereas endstop triggering is checked on each microstep.

To get your Core XY motors moving correctly, see: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareCoreXYPrinter#Section_Testing_motor_movement

I'll cover the macros for bed levelling in another post, once you've got the basic movement working.

If you upgrade the Z, I'd recommend 3-leadscrew rather than 4. See the Jubilee (https://jubilee3d.com/) for an example of a good Z stage. I'd also recommend making any additional extruders independent of the first, either by making it an IDEX, or a toolchanger. Jubilee is a good example of a toolchanger, too.

Below are notes on your config.g:

        M669 K1 ; select CoreXY mode

CoreXY mode is set, which is good!

        M584 X0.0 Y0.1 Z0.2 E0.3:0.4 ; set drive mapping
        M350 X16 Y16 Z16 E16:16 I1 ; configure microstepping with interpolation
        M92 X80.00 Y80.00 Z400.00 E420.00:420.00 ; set steps per mm
        M566 X900.00 Y900.00 Z60.00 E120.00:120.00 ; set maximum instantaneous speed changes (mm/min)
        M203 X6000.00 Y6000.00 Z180.00 E1200.00:1200.00 ; set maximum speeds (mm/min)
        M201 X500.00 Y500.00 Z20.00 E250.00:250.00 ; set accelerations (mm/s^2)
M906 X800 Y800 Z800 E800:800 I30 ; set motor currents (mA) and motor idle factor in per cent

You have initially set up the printer to have one motor on X, Y and Z, and two E motors. Remove the second E parameter on all of the above. Move the M584 from later on to above this section, replacing the original one.

        ...

Don't put anything that isn't a gcode in the config.g without a ';' comment marker at the beginning.

        M584 X0 Y1 Z2:4 E3 ; two Z motors connected to driver outputs Z and E1

Move this up to before the speeds and accelerations.

        > M671 X-20:165 Y0:0 S0.5 ; leadscrews at left (connected to Z) and right (connected to E1) of X axis

These positions for the leadscrews are almost certainly wrong. You need the position of leadscrews relative to the X0 Y0 point. Mine are at X-90, Y165 and X420, Y165 (with X0 Y0 at front left). However, I wouldn't put these in the config.g, as there are two ways of levelling the bed; with the independent leadscrews, and with the manual adjuster screws.

        M208 X-5:335 Y0:335 ; X carriage moves from -5 to 205, Y bed goes from 0 to 200

        Wrong format for M208, delete.

        M208 X0 Y0 Z0 S1 ; set axis minima
        M208 X330 Y330 Z400 S0 ; set axis maxima

        These are fine.

        M574 X1 S3 ; configure sensorless endstop for low end on X
        M574 Y1 S3 ; configure sensorless endstop for low end on Y
        M574 Z2 S2 ; configure Z-probe endstop for high end on Z

Don't run before you can walk. Use the microswitch endstops to start off with. See my config.g. Note I have changed the pins on the microswitches the wires are connected to, to the outside two pins, so they are active-high, which is recommended.

        M558 P9 C"^io7.in" H5 F120 T6000 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds

Remove ^ from the pin name. You only need it if you use 'probe.in', which the Duet 3 doesn't have

M558 H30 ;*** Remove this line after delta calibration has been done and new delta parameters have been saved

Remove this line, not needed for CoreXY. If you initially set up your printer as a delta, make sure you don't have a homedelta.g file in the /sys folder, or that will really mess things up.

        G31 P500 X0 Y0 Z2.5 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height

You haven't put in your Z probe offset in X and Y. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Test_and_calibrate_the_Z_probe

        M557 X15:215 Y15:195 S20 ; define mesh grid

Mesh bed is likely to be bigger than this, as bed is 330x300.

        M308 S0 P"temp0" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4138 ; configure sensor 0 as thermistor on pin temp0

        M308 S1 P"temp1" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4138 ; configure sensor 1 as thermistor on pin temp1

TronXY use standard 100k Epcos thermistors. Change B parameter to B4092 for better temperature accuracy.

        M950 F4 C"out8" Q500 ; create fan 4 on pin out8 and set its frequency
        M106 P4 S1 H1 T45 ; set fan 4 value. Thermostatic control is turned on

I'm pretty sure you don't need this many thermostatically controlled fans! Fan 0 should not be thermostatic, anyway, particularly as you have mapped it to Tool 0:

        M563 P0 D0 H1 F0 ; define tool 0

        Please post your M501.

That should be enough to get on with!

@mobietec The values in your config_override.g are different from the ones in your config.g. Because you have M501 at the end of config.g, the ones in config_override.g are the ones being used.

                    config.g:

                    M307 H0 R0.612 C635.3 D7.63 S1.00 V24.4 ; disable bang-bang mode for the bed heater and set PWM limit
                    M307 H1 R3.222 C146.1 D6.93 S1.00 V24.3 ; disable bang-bang mode for heater and set PWM limit

                    config_override.g:

                    M307 H0 R0.612 C635.254:635.254 D7.63 S1.00 V24.4 B0
                    M307 H1 R3.237 C65.602:65.602 D6.95 S1.00 V24.3 B0

However, the ones in config_override.g look more correct to me; they have two values for the C parameter, which means they were done with the new tuning algorithm which adapts for the part cooling fan. The bed tuning looks the same between them, but the hot end differs a little.

Either leave it as it is, or comment out M501 in config.g and copy the M307 values from config_override.g to config.g.

problem with homing z z probe already trigered at start of probing move

                      BLTouch troubleshooting: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/BLTouch_Troubleshooting

                      Normal operation is:

                      1. When the Duet is first powered up, the BLTouch should perform its self test, which is to light up with red light, and extend and retract pin twice. If this doesn't happen, +5V and GND are not connected correctly.
                      2. Send M280 P0 S10 to extend pin. If this doesn't work, check the wiring to the servo pin. Send M280 P0 S90 to retract the pin.
                      3. The sys/deployprobe.g file and the sys/retractprobe.g file should contain the above two commands, one command in each file. Send M401 to extend the pin. If this doesn't work, check your sys/deployprobe.g file contains M280 P0 S10. Send M402 to retract the probe, and if this doesn't work, check sys/retractprobe.g contains M280 P0 S90.
                      4. With the probe retracted, check in DWC the Z-probe value in the Status panel. It should be 0. If it is 1000, check the probe trigger wire (usually white) is connected to the correct input pin.
                      5. Send M401 to extend the pin. VERY lightly, touch the end. The Z-probe reading should go from 0 to 1000. If it goes from 1000 to 0, you need to invert the probe. If it doesn't change, check the wiring again.
                      6. If doing the above triggers the alarm (flashing red), send M280 P0 S160 to release alarm and retract probe.

As you're using a clone BLTouch, and there was another thread recently about clones not working properly (see https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/23218/strange-bltouch-behavior-after-update-to-3-3-0-b3), I expect it could be that the output is inverted, and it reads 1000 when not triggered, and 0 when triggered. If so, invert the probe by changing your M558 line to:

                      M558 P9 C"!io7.in" H5 F120 T6000

@mobietec I have mine set like this:

                          ; Endstops
                          M574 X1 S1 P"xstop" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on X via pin xstop
                          M574 Y1 S1 P"ystop" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on Y via pin ystop
                          M574 Z0 ; configure Z-probe endstop for low end on Z

I am using the X and Y endstops, BLTouch on Z. The only physical change is that I have wired them using the outer two pins (of three) on each microswitch, for NC (normally closed, or active high) operation, which is more reliable. I think you won't need to change your homing files much, except comment out any lines related to sensorless homing. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_endstop_switches#Section_Microswitch

If you want to post your current config.g for reference (or maybe after you have made the changed to endstops), please do. It would be good if you could use the 'code' tags around long bits of code, like the endstop code in the black box in this post, to make it easier to read. Click the '</>' icon at the top of the post edit window to insert these tags, and paste the code in between.

The G30 will just start probing at whatever XY position it's currently at, so you'll need to manually position the probe in the homeall.g and homez.g files so that the probe is where you want it to be before the G30.

What do you have in your deploy and retract macros?
Are those deploy and retract macros located in your /sys/ folder?
