Duet 2 wifi configuration for Cartesian
-
Hello all
Do you know any youtuber shows how to configure Duet2 wifi for Cartesian 3d Printer. Cartesian only please. I am new and first time building DIY 3d printer. Very confused by the following videos;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nqddfxHla0 (this not Cartesian anyways)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxfEbUuKDyo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxEk7-6RriQ&t=360sPlease give me a video that is self explanatory and it doesn't assume that the viewer has some sort of background. I am with 0 background and stuck configuring the board.

What specifically are you looking for regarding a cartesian setup?
The online config tool should get your a pretty good starting point.
https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/StartAnd then there is this cartesian setup page that goes into more detail.
https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareCartesianPrinterAnd then there is this walk through guide for a cartesian. It's not a video, but it go over a lot of things.

@phaedrux Thank you.
Other than the 3th link I looked at both links. I need detailed instruction on how to go through and fill the Configuration Tool; https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/Start
For instance: I know my heated bed's dimensions but I don't know what should I enter in 'Homing Speed' section or 'Axes' section (microstepping, steps per mm, MAx change speed, etc., I don't want to enter all the details but I am not sure how and where to extract these values from).
Again, my 3D is DIY cartesian. Thank you. -
Well the defaults in the config tool are safe. Some things you may not know exactly at first, but you'll be able to get it straightened out during commissioning.
