    @dc42 seems like same results on this firmware for me. Clunking sounds, and extrusion issues/jagginess on a calibration cube print with PA and input shaping (ei2). my PA is at 0.12.

    sorry in previous posts I've been putting my input shaping as ei3, I meant ei2. It's been ei2 not ei3.

    === Move ===
    DMs created 83, segments created 35, maxWait 23643ms, bed compensation in use: mesh, comp offset 0.000
    === MainDDARing ===
    Scheduled moves 11545, completed moves 11545, hiccups 3024, stepErrors 0, LaErrors 0, Underruns [0, 0, 0], CDDA state -1
    === AuxDDARing ===
    Scheduled moves 0, completed moves 0, hiccups 0, stepErrors 0, LaErrors 0, Underruns [0, 0, 0], CDDA state -1

    RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet version 3.4.0beta2-inputshaping (2021-08-01 21:19:05) running on Duet WiFi 1.02 or later + DueX5

    seems like the number of hiccups actually went up with this firmware.

      I've identified and fixed some issues affecting extrusion with pressure advannce, and updated the binaries at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ja08b7qdzsl8kjc/AAAwUbkN2XJvurq5CuQTgx5Wa?dl=0 again.

      Same problem as with previous binaries - after starting a print, the status immediately shows that the print is 100% complete - when I click emergency stop, DWC hangs up and I have to physically cut power to reset the printer

        Did you check for error messages in the console?

          Please can you try a print with PA enabled but input shaping disabled, and let me know if it behaves any differently from RRF 3.3.

              no error codes -All in all, the print sequence is OK, first the table heats up, then noozle and the print starts - even though the status from the very beginning shows the print as 100% complete - I think there is a bug with the layer count so DWC indicates the print as 100% complete

                When I made a downgrade to an earlier beta then it is OK - the problem appeared in the beta version released today

                  @dc42 Yes with input shaping disabled but PA enabled I am getting the clunking noises, different from RRF 3.3.

                      @cadetc RRF 3.4-b2pre isn't compatible with the DSF version from the unstable package feed. We'll update the package feed as soon as the remaining issues with IS/PA are confirmed to be fixed.

                        I have no problems with the July 28 beta bin
                        Duet3Firmware_MB6HC-28-07.bin

                        Print status problem started with the August 1 beta bin
                        Duet3Firmware_MB6HC-1-08.bin

                        But as chrishamm said

                        Problem lays with incompatibilie DSF - only surprised me why works with ver. 28-07 but not with ver. 1-08

                              @jenpet I have just found one cause of the issue with PA. I'll have a new binary soon.

                                @JenPet @skrotz @MikeS I have updated the binaries at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ja08b7qdzsl8kjc/AAAwUbkN2XJvurq5CuQTgx5Wa?dl=0. This version does not give rise to hiccups in my tests.

                                    @jenpet please check the firmware date using M115, which should be this afternoon.

                                    To reproduce this, I will need your config.g file and the GCode file you are printing.

                                        @dc42 just starting a print but definite improvement so far. Clunkiness is at least greatly reduced, if not gone. Will see how the print looks in a bit. Sounds much more normal.

                                          @jenpet I don't see any M572 command in config.g. Are you running without pressure advance?
