warning leds map
I have a red led flashing infrequently while the system works, presumably in a normal way. location: just left of the fuse, next to what seems like a voltage regulator (?).
what is it?
thanks -
@ooly its the diag LED. It typically flashes once a second
-
@ooly
Jay, thanks. where is the diagram? could not find it -

flashing infrequently
Well... what do you mean by "flashing infrequently"? It's a bit of a double meaning depending on interpretation. It's normally flashing at a periodic 1Hz rate.
-
@kb58
about 20 s off and 4-6 s on. wide variations. -
@ooly
cosmowave, the site you have suggested tie the flashing to expansion board. I don't have one. however, I uae a paneldue and it had stopped working before I opened the controller box and observed the flashing. any possible connection? thanks -
@ooly You can find all infos in the dozuki...

what is it?Which Duet?
-
@dc42
duet 2 wifi -
@ooly
also, since the paneldue does not work, I don't know which wifi channel to call for and therefore cannot connect to the controller.
how do I find the channel without paneldue? -
@ooly
I found the channel thru YAT. is there a simpler way? thanks -
@ooly
in the meantime I found the explanation concerning mDNS connecting by name. tried it and it did not work -
On the Duet 2 the DIAG LED is driven from the ZProbe MOD pin. When using some types of Z probe, that LED will light during a probing move.
also, since the paneldue does not work, I don't know which wifi channel to call for and therefore cannot connect to the controller.
There are various things that cause PanelDue not to work:
- Missing M575 P1 B57600 command in config.g
- Mismatched baud rates
- Cable bad or not connected correctly
Please start a new thread if you still have a problem getting PanelDue to work.
