No, and would love to watch it!

You will notice that when making this conversion I decided to also try using belts instead of lead screws for the Z axis.

I like it so much any future printers are going to use belts.

      Here is the video:

Wow... your bed tilts on 3 axis?? That's mad and awesome at the same time

On the 3/4 of the bed, the files skirt starts to print, but on the back left and left side, it doesn't print at all.. and comparing it to my mesh, those sides are low, not high, which would be causing it to not extrude since it's to close to the print bed.

Yeah - I see that myself - and it has led some folks to suggest that there is a "bug" in the firmware.

Now I've verified that the firmware is turning the Z steppers as the XY position changes but I have not taken the time to verify that at each grid point the Z adjustment is correct.

It's on my list to do - someday - when I have something called "free time" - which I have heard of but have yet to see.

Is that just on skirts, or with prints as well? Going to try a smaller size and see how it goes

Prints as well but since most of my printing only uses about half the bed I get the printing done that I need to get done.

Someday I'm going try to determine why the whole bed is still a problem.

@fcwilt Interesting... I used to be able to print around the whole bed.
I just made it 25% smaller and same problem.. even noticed first layer issues... front side was good, right side was a bit high, back side was waay to high, left side didn't print.

Have you tried it without enabling mesh bed compensation?

@fcwilt No, do I just exclude G29 S1 from the start of the Gcode?

I just test printed a 5 square bed level print and noticed that on the back left side, the extruder motor moves back/fourth in what looks like the same distance, essentially not extruding anything

Yes - that will do it.

@fcwilt Just removed it and re-printed.. same problem... Extruder stops extruding in the exact same spots. I recorded a video, just uploading it now.

I'm not on 3.4, I'm on 3.3 - is this bug a 3.4 bug, but even if not, this is now a new problem....
Maybe I should open a new thread for this one?

Is it failing to extrude because the nozzle is too close to the bed surface?

@fcwilt That was my first thought, but if that was the case, we'd hear it clicking and not seeing the extruder gear hoping back and fourth, yeah?

Well when the nozzle on my primary printer gets too close nothing comes out but I've never noticed any kind of clicking.

I use Zesty Nimbles v1.x and it may be they just "grind" the filament.

                                    Sound sensible.

What time is it where you are?

@fcwilt hey mate, so what do you reckon is going on here? I did a print last night and this morning started a new one, but noticed I had to make some large baby step corrections.... so I stopped and re-ran a G29 and a huge difference in my mesh...

                                            Mesh done two nights ago:
                                            39326b28-7b1c-42ad-a257-0239364b7efb-image.png

Mesh done just 5 minutes ago:
                                            b0444b19-f3da-4259-83f4-6d341d3ae5be-image.png

I can probably run a G32 and will have to adjust the springs... but what a shocking difference in just two days.
