Industrial AC servo drive compatibility?
-
Hello I am trying to use a Duet 3 MB6HC with a E1XD to control a servo driver with the step/dir signals of the E1XD.
The problem is that the step and dir pins of the E1XD are 5V while the step and dir inputs of the driver are 12-24V, my question is if there is any way to use higher signal voltages on the expansion board.
The driver that I'm trying to control is a Hiwin ED1S-VN-0422-A1.

@luka_dam something like this might do the job: https://www.petervis.com/electronics guides/frequency multiplier 2/5v to 12v conversion.html

@luka_dam made a quick check in the manual and it looks like positioning mode type 6 supports TTL levels.

@falkia thank you! I guess I missed it when I was looking in the manual.
